Dr. Mandelberg assists families in understanding the type of support that will help their children who are experiencing developmental delays, behavior problems, school performance issues, and other psychological concerns.
Dr. Mandelberg evaluates and treats children from birth to 18 years old for the following issues:

Development: Includes children at risk for delays (e.g., ex-NICU, adopted, medical conditions, genetic diagnoses, hearing or vision impairment) in motor, language, cognition, and adaptive skills.

Socialization: Autism Spectrum Disorder, Asperger's, and other social challenges.

Attention and regulation: Attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder and issues with executive functions.

Academics: Learning disabilities and differences, academic issues, intellectual disability, and giftedness.

Sensory-motor development and coordination: Including conditions such as cerebral palsy, hypotonia and sensory processing disorder

Behavior and self-care: Behavioral issues including issues related to obesity, sleep, feeding, self-regulation, and elimination.

Emotionality and mood: including anxiety disorders, tic disorders and Tourette syndrome, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) and selective mutism.
