Dr. Mandelberg is a board certified Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrician. He is a Los Angeles native who grew up in the San Fernando Valley. He went to college at Columbia and medical school at UC-San Francisco. He trained in general pediatrics at UCLA Mattel Children's Hospital and worked as a General Pediatrician for 5 years. He returned to UCLA to do a Developmental Behavioral Pediatrics fellowship and has been in private practice as a Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrician since 2011. Dr. Mandelberg lives in Westwood with his wife Robyn, daughter Emily and beagle-mix Calloway.

Dr. Mandelberg has received extensive training in a multitude of aspects of child development and behavior. While working at UCLA, he saw patients in the Developmental Studies clinic, the UCLA Intervention Program, in the High Risk Infant Follow Up Clinic, the Child Anxiety Clinic and the Child Psychopharmacology Clinic. He also consulted in the Healthy Weight (Behavioral Obesity) Clinic, the Cochlear Impant Clinic, the Parenting and Social Skills Training clinic and the Cerebral Palsy clinic among others. Dr. Mandelberg has published research into the long term benefits of social skills training for children and teens with autism.
