Dr. Mandelberg is a board-certified Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrician. A Los Angeles native, he grew up in the San Fernando Valley. He attended Columbia University for his undergraduate studies and UC-San Francisco for medical school. He completed his general pediatrics training at UCLA Mattel Children's Hospital and worked as a General Pediatrician for five years. He then returned to UCLA for a fellowship in Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics and has been in private practice since 2011.

 

Dr. Mandelberg resides in Westwood with his wife, Robyn, their daughter, Emily, and their beagle-mix, Calloway.

Dr. Mandelberg has extensive training in various aspects of child development and behavior. During his time at UCLA, he worked with patients in several specialized clinics, including:

  • High Risk Infant Follow Up Clinic

  • Child Anxiety Clinic

  • Child Psychopharmacology Clinic

 

He also consulted in clinics including:

 

  • Healthy Weight (Behavioral Obesity) Clinic

  • Cochlear Implant Clinic

  • Parenting and Social Skills Training Clinic

  • Cerebral Palsy Clinic


Research and Publications

Dr. Mandelberg has published research on the long-term benefits of social skills training for children and teens with autism.
